Listen!
I'll tell you a funny story about Dr. Tesla-K. and his obsession with Time (and the need to Time-Travel).
Or maybe it's not such a funny story.
Anyway. It involves The Soul Representative, and although he's gotten over it, it's a good thing he's not here.

You see, The Doctor is bothered by something that happened when The Soul Rep. was a boy.

This is what happened:
The Soul Rep's mother suffered from involuntary urine loss and after consulting her physician she decided to have some "routine" surgery to correct this (she felt) embarrassing defect.

And then...
She died of "complications" resulting from this otherwise successful and undoubtedly skillfully executed operation.

Now
If only The Doctor could find a way to transport The Soul Representative back to the day before the doomed medical procedure... The Soul Rep. could then urge his mom to not have the operation, but instead bide her time, as the invention of "Tena Lady" or "Depend-Slips" would save her from further embarrassment in just a few years...
"Don't do it mom!" he'd say... and everything would have been different.

Come to think of it, The Doctor knows of a lot of things that would benefit from a second chance or a re-run with different results.

Some other things however: he wouldn't change a bit ;-)
Those are our happy days.
